What is Digital Dementia? Definition, Symptoms, and Susceptibilities

Ever heard of “digital dementia?” Wondering if you have it?

This week, we’re kicking off a new video series on this “silent epidemic” that is on the rise as technology becomes a greater and greater part of our lives.

But what is it exactly?
What are the symptoms?
Who is susceptible?

Get the answers to all these questions in today’s 4 minute video on defining digital dementia.

You may be thinking, ‘ok sure Doc but I’ve already got enough pandemic/epidemic crazy in my life – I don’t need one more thing to worry about.’

And to that I would say, I hear you.

With a family and a business of my own to manage, I truly understand not wanting any more crazy!

I wouldn’t be putting this out there if I didn’t truly believe it was critically important.

As our schools, jobs, and homes become increasingly screen-oriented, we have to step back and consider how all this screen time may be affecting our brains and bodies.

And especially our kids’ developing brains and bodies.

As one of the first generations to be born into a tech-saturated world, we need to be cautious about how much exposure they have, because we simply don’t know what will happen.

In this daily video series, I’ll pass along all the latest research about what we DO know so far, so that you can make the best decisions possible for yourself and your family in these uncertain times.

Please feel free to share today’s quick video with friends or family by sharing this post with them or sharing our video on YouTube.

See you tomorrow!
