Sleep to Boost Your Immune System

We’ve all done it.

You get busy, skimp on sleep for a night… or three… or twelve, and you end up coming down with something.

This happens because your immune system MUST have sleep to do its job.

If it doesn’t get the sleep it needs, you get sick, are forced to sleep, then you get better.

But you may be finding you’re not sleeping as well as you’d like right now.

Between ongoing COVID-19 news, many people starting back to work while juggling kids and summer activities, and with all that is happening right now across the country… stress is so high right now.

I don’t have control over any of those stressors, but I can control the actions I take to promote my own health.

That’s what we’re focusing on in today’s video, where you’ll learn…

  • How to snack for a better night’s sleep
  • Why you wake up in the middle of the night
  • How hormones impact sleep
  • How sleep benefits the immune system

Sleep is one of the body’s most powerful tools to handle stress and improve the immune system, so I hope you check out today’s video above and learn how you can maximize your sleep for the sake of your well being.

Stay safe and well everyone, and catch you on the flip side!
