New Patient Center
If you’re visiting our Olathe chiropractic care center for the first time, we’d like you to know exactly what to expect. We want to make sure that you feel relaxed and comfortable, and feeling confident in choosing us as your family practitioner.
As you enter the office, you’ll hear pleasant background music. We share space with a medical practitioner, and feature a joint front desk and reception area for your convenience. The environment at Mills Chiropractic & Wellness Center is often described as warm and inviting. We hope you think so, too.
Your First Visit
Your first visit takes about one hour. Once you’ve checked in at the front desk, one of our staff will provide you with a tablet to complete your health history information. You’ll then be escorted to a private room where Dr. Mills will conduct a comprehensive assessment, including
- A consultation
- An orthopedic and neurological examination
- Non-invasive nerve scans (EMG, thermography)
- X-rays, if necessary
If no other testing is required, Dr. Mills will also provide you with a report of findings, which is a detailed review of your examination results. Customized care options will then be discussed based on your stated goals and preferences.
You’ll then receive your first gentle chiropractic adjustment.

Our care is patient-centered; this means that our focus is on you. You’re in the driver’s seat, and we encourage you to share your hopes, goals and concerns. Dr. Mills fosters healthy, interactive patient/doctor relationships, and always goes the extra mile for those he serves.
